conference proceedings materials,

The R.E.M. workshop on Thursday afternoon is in parallel
with the Tools demo plenary session.
The following rates apply to someone who is NOT attending WCRE and just wants to attend a
workshop or tutorial. The rate includes Lunch but
does not include WCRE proceedings or any evening event.

This workshop/symposium rate does not apply to authors of accepted WCRE papers, who must be regular conference participants.
Visa to Enter France/EU & Invitation Letter
Be aware that you may need a visa to enter France or the European Union.

To get an invitation letter, you need to fulfill at
least one of the following conditions:
- be member of the Program Committee of WCRE 2009;
- be author of a paper accepted for presentation at WCRE 2009;
- have paid your registration fees for WCRE 2009.
To request an invitation letter for WCRE or any of the co-located events,
please fill in this form.
Please complete your registration on-line before submitting the invitation letter request.
The letter cannot be issued until your registration is confirmed.

the Reengineering Forum industry association ('REF').
Payment through PayPal
Payment in Euros (EUR) can be made on-line through the
PayPal, a subsidiary of eBay.com, at any of its sites:

using a credit card or a PayPal account. The payment must be directed to REF's
PayPal account "reengineer@reengineer.org".
Note that you can pay by credit card through PayPal in EUR without
providing your credit card details to WCRE, IEEE, or REF.

Credit Cards
When a credit card payment is listed on the registration form, the credit card
charge in EUR is processed by REF through the PayPal service firm.
By providing information for a credit card
payment, you agree that REF may act as your agent in the placement
of the credit card charge and you agree to the terms stated on this page.
For security and fraud prevention, credit card charges are processed
off-line either the same day or within a few days after your registration is received.
You will be notified by email from wcre@reengineer.org if there
is any problem with the credit card transaction.
If you choose to use an American Express card, the transaction will be in U.S. Dollars (USD)
at the closest equivalent to the EUR rate on the day the card charge is processed. This is
usually the Interbank rate plus two percent.
Credit card charges now require that you provide the Card Verification Number (CVN)
(sometimes also called CID) that is printed on your card. For Visa & MC, the Card Verification Number is
printed on the back of the card in the signature area.
For Amex, it is printed on the front of the card. These numbers are flat
printing, not raised lettering.

Credit card charges placed by Reengineering Forum will appear on your card
statement as one of:
-- "PayPal" with a reference of "WCRE 2009 conference".

Please advise whoever will review your charge statement that this item
is your WCRE registration. (Unnecessary disputes on credit card charges
cause higher fees and therefore higher registration rates.)
Note that payment must be received by September 24 to qualify
for early registration discount.
Bank Transfers
For security and fraud prevention, bank transfer details will be sent directly to the
registered attendee. You must complete your on-line registration to receive
the bank transfer instructions by email.
There is an extra 20 EUR fee for paying by Bank Transfer to cover the cost to the
non-profit conference of receiving the transfer payment.
The payment must be made in EUR. All bank charges and exchange fees must
be paid by the sending party. Be sure to instruct your bank that our
bank must receive the entire transfer registration amount. No fees may be
taken out of this amount. Pay any transfer fees to your bank separate from
the WCRE registration amount.
Since bank transfers take at least seven business days to arrive, registrations made
after September 18 that are paying by bank transfer will be at the "received after
September 24" rate.
Registrations placed after October 1 may not be paid by bank transfer.

Notes
Due to the international epidemic of attempted visa, entry permit,
conference registration, and credit card fraud, the conference and its
sponsors reserve the right to question any registration request and
only honor it on receipt of valid proof of active research or
industry participation in the technical field of the conference.
In case of any issue, the decision will be up to the registration staff
and conference organizing committee.
Registration fees for the full conference include one copy of

Whichever method of payment is used, make sure you include the name of
the attendee.
An EUR 50 handling fee will be applied to all cancelled registrations.
No refunds after Thurssday, October 1.
Fees cannot be refunded for registrations canceled after this deadline.
Any substitution of attendees must be approved
in advance by the General Chair.
Student rate applies only to full-time undergraduate and graduate students,
not otherwise employed. Proof of full-time student status is required, which
can be a letter from your department on university stationery.
As a technical meeting of the field (not a trade show), all
paper presenters register for the conference.
